Certifications, standards & evidence

Which regulation applies to which system, who is allowed to install it and what evidence must end up in the file — this website's complete catalogue of standards and intervals on one page.

At a glance.

Preventive fire protection is not governed by a single law but by a web of them: product standards for the components, application standards for planning and operation, workplace rules for use, state building regulations and inspection ordinances for the duty, and insurance directives for cover. That is precisely where gaps come from — not from negligence, but because hardly anyone has every source in view at once.

This page brings together what is otherwise spread across the service pages: every regulation we work to, with an indication of which trades it affects — and beneath that, every inspection interval on this website in a single list. It is intended as a working tool: for the inspection visit, for the tender, for the conversation with the insurer.

A note on terminology, because it is often confused here: the standards listed are the regulations that planning, installation, acceptance and maintenance are carried out to. They are not awards a company holds. Where a trade requires a specialist company qualification — DIN 14675 for fire alarm systems, for instance — we evidence the qualifications required for your project before any commission is placed.

  • Complete catalogue of the standards and regulations applied
  • Every inspection and maintenance interval in one overview
  • Each regulation mapped to the trades it affects
  • A basis for tendering, inspection visits and insurance discussions
  • Evidence of the required qualifications before any commission is placed

From survey to maintenance.

  1. 01

    Site survey

Record every existing system, inspection report and maintenance contract — including the ones nobody has so far felt responsible for.

  2. 02

    Comparison against the regulations

Establish for each system which standards and deadlines apply, and where what is installed departs from them.

  3. 03

    Defect and deadline list

Rank the deviations by urgency: what must be put right immediately, what by the next appointment, what merely needs documenting.

  4. 04

    Retrofitting & acceptance

Add what is missing, have the systems accepted and bring the evidence together in one place.

  5. 05

    Deadline management

Keep every interval in one plan and give notice in good time before it expires.

Inspect, maintain, document.

What has to be inspected how often — and the standard each interval rests on.

What you get.

Benefit 01 / 03

One source instead of eight

Standards and deadlines for every trade in one place — rather than scattered across product data sheets, maintenance contracts and ring binders.

Benefit 02 / 03

Gaps become visible

Comparing what is installed against the regulations shows which system has been running without valid evidence, and since when.

Benefit 03 / 03

Demonstrable to third parties

The authority, the insurer and the employers' liability insurance association do not ask about the system, they ask for the evidence. That is exactly what this produces.
